How does the taste of haymon success feel? Can you name a reason why you hate him ? A legit reason? Probably not, go a head and try and look stupid.

Haymon's model is successful and advertisers are starting to buy in. It's only a matter of time until he's turning a true profit and you idiots will have to go back to your holes.


Good for boxing having a platform that is accessible to everyone. Just image when the first REAL fight is on.

Yea that bugs me. Not a good sign. PBC is good for boxing though.

THAT is terrible but you had a problem with PBC before any of that was even mentioned. Why?

 

I can name a reason and that's standing in the way of the biggest fights to be made, certainly with good fighters out of his own league. Making boxers that had enormous momentum into the biggest jokes of the sport with horrendous mismatches, belt hostage holding and ducking like madmen.

Now we get an own belt, in a closed league in wich many big names -some of the very best, dominating fighters- are excluded, so he can call his own fighters "champions" without actually having to face the best out there. It's bad for boxing and people will pick up on that.

What I do like is that finally American viewers can see high level boxing without need of premium cable and/or having to pay for ridiculously expensive PPV events.
But do not kid yourself. 3.4M in such a large country is still peanuts compared to what other counties score on free to air TV, and not remotely what boxing events scored before the PPV/premium era in the US.
We start talking with 10M+ viewers and back in business with 20M+, because let's face it, right now he's losing money and it isn't sustainable for long. Haymon's pockets are deep, but on one point he has to start making money instead of losing it.
