david tua vs joe louis

    tua from ibeabuchi fight,louis from the second schmelling fight.
    david tua 226 lbs,joe louis 199 lbs.
    big 27 lbs weight advantage for tua,tua is stronger,has a bigger punch and a better chin.
    on the other hand,joe louis has a better jab,great combos,faster hands.
    tua has an all time chin,can he absorb louis's bombs?
    remember joe louis was not a mover,could he keep tua off him?
    tony galento had louis in trouble and knocked him down,and a small arturo godoy gave him trouble with his pressure style.
    lennox lewis used his gigantic size to decision tua,ike ibeabuchi also used movement and a jab but also mixed it inside,chris byrd used his slickness...what will joe louis use in order to beat the tuaman?

    Louis by wide UD, but there is no way, either him or Marciano dent the Tua man. I don't care what all the nostalgists think about Louis or Marciano's alleged power, they couldn't move guys like Tua and McCall if they hit them all night long, never mind 15 rounds.

    Well if Louis isn't moving Tua he's getting knocked spark out IMO.

    Only if Wales counts, but it helped that Louis had a broken hand.

    Paulino Uzcdun and Arturo Goddoy were in the same category as Tua durability wise.

    Max Baer probably was as well.

    As it happens you could well be right. I was thinking in terms of boxing ability in the wide UD prediction, but I could quite easily see a scenario in which Tua sneers at Louis's " power " walks straight through it and almost takes his head off with one shot.

    Tua either knocks him out or makes him wish he was knocked out with combos all night. Tau at best drops him once early. Galento replay and yes, I don't consider tuaman much better than 2ton.

    Louis's jab would sicken Tua and his quick combinations would soon evaporate any ambition he might have ,he would shut up shop and fight to survive , Just as he did against Lewis.

    Its funny how many people think that Tua was not able to be KO'd. He would be hit consistently by a Joe Louis jab followed by an ****nal of power combinations and he would get stopped somewhere in the first half of the fight or be battered until he had enough.....Louis By KO

    Tua was out boxed by Rachman, Byrd and Lewis. Who actually thanks Joe Louis could not outbox him ? As far as power no matter no one combined speed , power and straight punching like Louis. He may or may not knock Tua out but anyone who thinks Tua walks through his power is delusional. Look at how Louis destroyed Max Baer, Abe Simon, Buddy Baer, how he lifted a 240 pound Galento off the floor with a shot. Louis was a punching machine.
