Quigg would not be without certain advantages if he WAS to be allowed by his windy team to fight Rigo. Home advantage, size, physicality, extreme fitness, great body puncher etc etc

Maybe he should go for it!
There's nothing ELSE happening for him, poor lad.

Rigo is a fool if he thinks he will get anything like that kind of money for fighting quigg I'd be surprised if they could make it ppv unless it had a top notch undercard. However I think quigg will gain a lot of respect if he gets in the ring with him. Can definitely kiss goodbye to a fight with frampton if that happens though. If rigo beat quigg then Barry would want a 90/10

Quigg should take the fight with rigo and prove he ain't a paper champion

Quigg should fight anyone that has been mentioned in this thread, as while I quite like what I've seen of him, he's still unproven and to beat a big name in the division especially at home would boost his name and career hugely!

Ha, imagine the jump in class of fighters on Quiggs resume....

Goes from fighting African coffee workers for 5 years then gets in the ring with arguably p4p #1

However it could be a no lose situation for Quigg, unless he's blown out early which Rigo tends not to do

I'd also like to point out this fight should have happened along time ago......

    And another interesting question

If Rigo wins will Scott still keep his belt?

How decent a fight are we talking?

Four months on, nobody is singing the praises of "Hisashi Amagasa the world beater", so far as I know...

I am currently imagining a mug shot of Amagasa after the fight with "world beater" written under it

    Doesn't quiet fit :p

Tell it to Willie Casey. :yep

    ...or Sod Looknangyongtoy.

    ...or two other blokes.

Honestly, 4x in 15 matches, that's more than a quarter of his career Rigo has blown guys out in the 1st. :think

Fair point however those were very early in Rigos career and sod or w/e was a complete mismatch... even Floyd blasted out a few opponents in the first many years ago but ud not expect him to do that now against "quality opposition" which Quigg would be for Rigo...

Same can be said for lots of fighters

Either way I think It's a gd fight for Quigg, he's needs a gd performance against a world class fighter for ppl to start taking him seriously

Scott would have certain advantages, and nothing else is happening for him...so he might as well go for it.
What's the worst that can happen....??

No one would expect Quigg to win. He'd look *****y for taking it and could potentially put up a good fight. Seems a no brainer to me
