Calzaghe would have beat him down worse than he did Lacy. Froch is too slow and limited for Joe.

He came, saw, conquered, cleaned up financially, and left with all his marbles. Lot of folk can't seem to handle that.. :-(

He deserves them pay days in the sun like JC did. Ever since fighting Robin Reid he has been in one hard title fight after another.

Now I aint defending Eddie (guy annoys me more and more with every schedule he makes !) However he has made Froch the biggest boxing name in Britain, gave the UK the biggest fight its ever seen, and rose Froch's rep and name to levels he wouldnt have thought possible ... oh yeah and made him a multi multi millionaire.

So for legacy how can you knock that over the past 3/4 yrs he has been the biggest name in British boxing quite comfortably and easily made more cash than any other euro fighter out there actually over the last 2/3 years outwith Mayweather and Pac he may actually be one of the highest earners in the sport (i maybe well off with the highest earners part i dont know)

But 3 yr ago people who didnt ever watch boxing didnt know who Froch is .... Now i dont think i could find a single person (in my age demographic) who doesnt know who Froch is. id say both Froch and Hearn have done not to badly at all (actually just to add to that im sure i seen him talking about money made in fights and when he won the Commonwealth under fish eyes i think.. he got paid something just under 40k from that he still had to pay his rent, gym fees and trainer fees etc. which in the end would have left him with peanuts.

    Don't speak nonsense.

I went to the Direll fight and it was a packed house. 10K odd.

"Gave the UK the biggest fight it's ever seen.." and nearly one year later Froch hasn't fought anyone. Great promoting!

Yeah but Hopkins and Jones are big fights, Chavez is just pointless really.

what did i say that was nonesense?

made him the biggest domestic name barr none. made him the most money by a country mile. financially did an unbelievable job.... legacy/promoting wise the groves froch fights will be talked about for the next 30 yr easy the build up, the hype (maybe not the fight) the money was miles bigger than anyone would have dreamed.

Froch is easily one of Hearns best success stories .... ask froch if he thinks Hearn has done a bad job with him .....

Irony must be your middle name

I was at the Dirrell fight with numerous other ESB members ( real person, not a faceless cretin )

Trent Arena didn't hold 10.000+, so is that another one of your dreamt up facts ? :patsch

Hearn is obviously a poor promoter, Froch has gone from obscure World Title holder, to a household name with a huge bank balance.

Yet there are comments claiming Froch vs Chavez is a ''toss-up''. Golovkin moving up to face the superstar would be something I'd willingly pay to watch on Sky Box Office, but selling Froch against Chavez Junior as a super fight is a breach of trading standards. Not that that has stopped Eddie Hearn before.

Nigel Benn's comments about Carl today summed up what I think a lot of fans feel about the guy. Froch is a good fighter with weaknesses in speed and talent that past greats would have absolutely taken him to school over.

Okay you people say Froch has a bad end because he had 'ducked' Degale, yet I see none of you accusing Calzaghe of ducking. As far as I am concerned neither ducked or were worried about fighting either of the guys but merely went looking for more rewarding fights financially.

Calzaghe's career ended on a bum note as well.

Froch's resume since Booty is shocking
