    Exactly.

Not exactly easy to hit the guy on the chin and never has been. It's going to take a strong set of whiskers from an opponent to last against Wlad. Plus, keep their power late. And the non-front runner types that can be way down in a fight and still manage to comeback. Those things eliminate a lot of guys.

But I still think the guy he is most vulnerable to is Lennox and interestingly, Sanders. Based on where Wlad holds that right hand and that straight as an arrow dart Corrie throws early. A very very dangerous punch, in addition to a nasty right hook from a southpaw which is tough also. That said, he's still a 50-50 bet for like the first 3 rounds and then it's Wlad's fight. And Sanders knows how to finish, which is crucial. But I think corrie is like that to a lot of guys. What Sanders won't do is string together a lot of defenses. But to win a single bout, yep. Just like another guy...

Brewster will always have a shot. Nasty left hook and he keeps that power throughout the fight. Can fight in tough fights. I think A tua does not have the footwork to get in proper range to land on Wlad for the reasons you stated. But a Brewster can.

Ironically, he faced guys with a style and special skills that beat him. If he fought in the late 70's or 80's or 90's, who had those particular skills?

the other side of the coin to consider is just how many heavyweight defenses do I see succesffuly dealing with the kinds of punches wlad throws? I really don't see many. Maybe a handfull or less. Mostly it'd be the absorb well guys.

    What do you think?

Bryant Jennings is actually a decent heavyweight.

Compared to Wach and Pianneta he might be. But that isn't saying much to me.:-(

I won't get sidetracked in a debate about comparing every one of Wlad's opponents. But focusing specifically on Jennings, he's a decent opponent. He's come up fighting reasonable opposition, stays pretty fit, and can box, punch, and go the distance. He's nothing elite by any means, but not a bum of the month member either.

Beat Joe Bugner who twice went the distance with Ali and gave Frazier a decent fight.

Not really. He's a Kingpin Johnson with movement.

Joe Parker , even this early , impresses me more than Jennings.

In addition to having more movement he also has a bit more snap to his shots and has beaten better opposition than Johnson did by the time he had accumulated 19 fights. Again I'm not making a case for Jennings being the next Muhammad Ali, only that he's "decent".

    Q. Disregard his ranking ,off his record ,does he deserve a title shot?

That settles it. He'll likely do better than Pulev than.

He struggled with the two best guys he faced.

One was a football hooligan suffering chronic jet lag and the other was un-fit and un-motivated Perez who he should have lost to were it not for the point deduction.
