Next to Wilder or Fury? No.. But Wlad has already met three consecutive mandatory opponents in his last three fights ( Leapai was a joke, but the WBO forced the issue ) and you know as well as I do that no champion fights the number one guy every time out. And I can't think of too many current contenders aside from Wilder and Fury who are leaps and bounds above jennings.

Regardless, they were better than anyone Kingpin had beaten prior to getting a shot at Vitali Klitscko and point deduction or not, he won those fights..

So this is what it has come down to, calling into question if an active undefeated contender coming off wins over two other active undefeated contenders DESERVES a title shot.

Workmanlike performance. He's average. I wouldn't call him decent.

5 years a pro and just 10 stoppage wins.

Back in the good ol days , decent guys would go through that record in a year.

There's really no winning here. The man has defended his title against three consecutive mandatory opponents and is scheduled to take on another undefeated ranked contender, but yes according to some he's still record padding against bums.. There's definitely something to be said about how years of hindsight eventually changes one's view.. Twenty years from now people will look back and say how Wladimir Klitscko defended his title often and against the very best in his division, and say that they wish the current champion ( whoever that will be ) did the same...

We keep demanding that all these rising contenders fight and beat each other. And we keep demanding the Champion defend against a top 5 contender.

Jennings fought and beat two of other contenders to get a top 5 standing, but he apparently doesn't "deserve his rating", you can't please everyone. How dare Wlad defend against a top 5 guy that beat other contenders! How dare he!

Back in the "good ole" days you head men like Ossie Ocasio getting title shots with 13 pro bouts and "workmanlike" performances over an aged Jimmy Young.

I'm not sure what Fury has done to make him so highly rated.
I doubt Fury's beat anyone as good as Mike Perez.
Depends what people think of Chisora and Cunningham, I guess.

    Agreed,'

But given his current standing, if I omitted him a certain person would take the chance to jump all over the opportunity and say that Wlad is "ducking" Fury to face Jennings... Therefore I gave him his rightful/wrongful dues..

Cunningham was a good win but I honestly wouldn't favor Fury over Perez or Jennings. And there's a reason he hasn't been matched against guys like that.

People like Dino are just in love with Fury's size and "supposed" power.

If Fury beats Wilder, than we can talk, but not certain he even does that. I think both guys will ultimately cash out against Wlad before fighting each other.

I see what you're trying to do. You're not smart Barney.

I have no interest Size and Power . People abusing it is what i dislike i dislike in a HW.

Refrain from using my name in the future.

The K Bros are ducking them now.

You may not know this but I just learned from another poster last week on here, that no fighter ever really retires, and as an active Champion it is Wlad's and his fake retired Big Bro's obligation to pay these men top dollar to call their bluff and get them back in the ring. Sure they can say Cooper and Wepner are retired and there is no reason to fight these stylstic nightmares, but when they annoucne their comeback fights in a venue near you, you'll know the truth. They are always willling to come back, the Bros just didn't want any part of them.

Yeah, Fury certainly didn't abuse his size and power against Cunningham.

Make me refrain from using your name, you bet welching ducker. :bart
