I don't think he loses out here at all. He should go for it.

Right now I fancy Quigg will be facing Kiko Martinez next, not Rigo, Nonito or Carl.
He will be looking to do better than Carl did vs Kiko. Question is, is kikos heart still in it after two very demoralising defeats by Frampton?

Well, considering he went on the best run of his career after the first loss (the one in which Frampton stopped him) and has rebounded since the rematch with a confidence-boosting hiding of some poor Georgian cab driver, I'd say Kiko's mental state is probably just fine. The question really becomes whether Quigg is ready to step up to someone of his caliber.

I dunno about that...hasn't he broken up with his trainer? And the Georgian wouldn't be much preparation for Quigg. Also kiko looked too small for Frampton. He is really a bantam, and Quigg is really a featherweight. Very interesting match indeed, Quigg-kiko.

...but has Quigg proven himself to be "quality opposition" as of right now any more than had Willie Casey at 11-0? :think

    Serious question.

Willie at least had knocked out Cave & Hyland, which I am inclined to believe matches or even trumps a tattered and ripe for the picking version of the Bin Man and...what's Quigg's 2nd best? Up-jumped bantamweight Jamoye?

I think Quigg will "not be able to make super-bantam any more" if he has to face Rigo.
Frampton hasn't got an opponent either - if he won't fight Quigg the Rigo match would be easy to make.

.....and you know what Rigos answer would be..." Fine I'll fight the big lug at 126"!!!
