Kovalev ain't scared of nobody, he's probably hoping stevenson fights beterbiev instead so that he can kill two birds with one stone, makes sense!

But based on what many posters have said in the past, he is either completely ducking or the posters are massive hypocrites.

 

It's a duck by Duva/HBO, I can't put this on Kovalev, it has nothing to do with him. The only thing I'm hoping for is that people who are calling Kovalev a ducker now were saying the same about Stevenson a year ago, looking at the names that doesn't seem to be the case.

They can either say Stevenson was ducking then and Kovalev is ducking now or no one ducked anyone. Kovalevs team knew it was going to purse bid and the winner could choose the network and it was ok on both sides because Kovalevs contract ended with the Pascal fight. But then Kovalev signs an exclusivity deal knowing full well it would cause problems with the purse bids if they don't win. Then they pull out before purse bids. There were a lot of people hating Stevenson calling him a duck for the same thing Kovalev does now. But they aren't calling Kovalev a duck. atsch

And they are still saying Stevenson ducked Kovalev. I hate Stevenson and I'm a Kovalev fan but I just have to call it like it is.
