So I brought a punching bag and I have no garage and the attic is not done for me to hang it in. I just want to know if it's a better idea to hang it from a wood beam or will I be better off getting a wall mount for it? I don't really like the stands.
Oh man, bad idea no mattter what. Your family will hate you. If you live in an apartment or town house, you will receive visits from police and death threats (and well deserved). There's no good way to do this. The noise and vibration will be unbearably loud to anyone within 20 metres of you. I hope you still have your receipt and can get your money back. My serious advice is just plain don't do it.
Interesting. Yeah it's definitely a town house. I brought it from eBay. Maybe I'll post it on Craigslist. It's a shame because I was looking forward to get a good workout without distractions.
