Roy Jones Jr and Charlie Burley were like freaking cats, Ali too for his size. It was like they were in the Matrix the way they would dart in or dodge shots. Benitez, Floyd, Pacquiao, Judah, Ray Leonard, Camacho were all fast, but that's not exactly the same thing. Whitaker and Locche were damn near unhittable but I don't think their offense was as good, which implies that it wasn't so much reflexes as they were good at anticipating where shots were coming from.

RJJ, easily. There will never be another fighter as fast as him.

Tyson, too. People forget how that he was faster than most LW's when he was a HEAVY!

Roy. only guy with the kind of reflexes that could move and hit back at the same time.
floyd and pernell are amazing, reflex wise- they get out of the way. but their movement is duck and counter, roys reflexes are so amazing his counter is incorporated into his dodge. that takes amazing leverage, torque, balance and just flat out talent. **** looks easy when he does it. anyone can do it against a bag, but try it with a guy trying to take ur head off.

i mean the guy literally hit a guy with his hands behind his back.

but pac, pea and floyd are all special in this department- and of course ali and sugar - both of them were tremendous. those og guys relied on amazing anticipation and technique, rather than pure athletic reflexes though they had that too.

pea was a marvel of fast twitch reaction time. like a sprung cat. willie pep was also amazing. they say he won a round without throwing a punch. i saw the round and i dunno if he won it- but yeah- amazing reflexes also.

pac is underrated because he s gotten caught so much- because he attacks as much as he defends. but if his temperament were different, if he wasn't such a warrior, he'd be a tremendous defensive fihghter- if he were so inclined to be purely defensive and evasive.

which brings us to floyd, also a marvel , very subtle movement, amazing anticipation and technique. perhaps not the pure crazy reflexive marvel that pea and roy are though.

those two guys, roy and pea, had the type of reflexes to dodge a bullet and catch a fly out of the air, at the same time.

sorry to come accross as a douche ... but they all prob have the same reflex's infact they prob have the same reflex's as you and I. Honest

People reflex speeds dont really differ at all. I watched a doc. were they had Jeremy Clarkson running the reflex test alongside Micheal Schumacher. We all send signals to the brain at the same time/speed. they did the ruler test wee they drop a ruler and see how many cm's pass before your hands react and catch it. Both were pretty much exactly the same.

What you are referring to is the ability to process information sent there and act instinctively/automatically. What these guys will be able to do is multi-task in their brain far far better than the average person. Half of the information in a ring will reacted to automatically. Were they will excel in most is processing the more random things or things they havent come accross as much because they can focus on these parts a lot more. Its all just science.

But boxers/fighter pilots/F1 drivers all have pretty much the same reflex speed as you and I !!
