This is on Spike TV in the States so it's possible that it could be on Spike TV over here. Or Boxnation. Or Sky.
But Brook is staying very busy with this fight. It's an "extra" fight pretty much. Khan has hardly been fighting, and keeping it on the lower risk side, in his quest to who.re himself to Mayweather. I know it's a business, but it's also a combat sport. If you don't show ba.lls you're going to get criticism. What's bad about Khan, is not so much the individual opponent here, but the pattern of behaviour in chasing Mayweather.
Gavin arguably lost to Bradley Skeete. What does it prove if Brook blows him away? See what I did there? "Oh but it's a tune up/a quick pay day/a stay bust fight" That is ALWAYS the case with Kell. He's fought one f*cking named fighter in Porter, who's best win is Paulie! So this fight with Chris is a joke, but let's not act like Kell is facing a TOP WORLD CLASS Welter, cos he isn't. He is facing a man who just beat an opponent ranked something like 445th IN THE WORLD and before that he arguably LOST to BRADLEY SKEETE! At least Chris beat a good fighter in Prov (although a weightless below), it's still better than Frankie's resume!
I get that lad but Khan probably has the Mayweather fight or at LEAST the Pacquiao fight in Macau. Why would he risk that by fighting Brook, when the Brook fight will always be there. You said this is a "stay busy" fight for Brook, well then he's been staying busy his entire career bar Porter.
What bugs me more than anything with Khan fights is they use Kells fights as a measuring stick to whether or not Amir's fights are any good, Kell practically begged Amir to take a fight against him, if he had of accepted there would of been no Alergi and no Gavin, so I don't get why whose rubbish fight now is important, when the one we all wanted to see was offered
Because as we've all said (including Khan) Brook hasn't fought anybody whatsoever, and this continues that trend.
So what about Alergi? Also if kell had fought more names but lost too them like Alergi did to manny (very convincingly) then Khan would just say oh he lost to anyone good so he's not worth it, initially khan said kell had to win a world title, which he did, even the night khan won it they asked Amir and he said they could get it on, he's moved the goalposts but yet again the khan fanboys lap up every word
porter better than anyone khan as faced imo matt hatton good enough for canelo michael jennings good enough for cotto and carson jones just knocked brian rose out and khan laughs at jones so in respect he is saying rose is absolute garbage khan dragging fighters up inferior to him from lower divisions you see that trend continuing
Khan fans don't get this though, khan fans very rarely know about fighters, just judge them on has Amir fought them or not, they have a very blinkered view, they're fans of Amir rather than fans of boxing
None of the above fighters were good enough for the fighter they faced, thus why the fights were completely one sided. Just because the fight happened, doesn't mean it was good enough for them. Algeiri would beat Gavin every single day of the week, and would beat every single person on Brook's record, except maybe Porter and even then I wouldn't bet on Porter.
Algeiri beat Provodnikov and then lost to Pacquiao, Rios lost to Pacquiao in similar fashion and lost to Abril/Alvarado but when that fight is announced all the Brook fans will rejoice in the fact he's finally facing somebody. Algeiri would box Rios head off, but Brook/Rios is going to be some huge summer showdown and probably a PPV.
