By your standards Stevenson ducked before so now that Kovalev is pulling out he must be ducking right? Kovalevs team bragged that the purse bid would be no problem because his contract with HBO ended with the Pascal fight. He knew the winner of the purse bid chooses the network but signed another exclusivity deal anyway and then pulling out because they thought they couldn't win the purse bid. It's either Stevenson ducked before and Kovalev now or boxing politics are garbage and neither fighter has ducked the other.

Duva and Michel Who had Kovalev sign an exclusivity deal with HBO knowing all this? Duva and Kovalev Who pulled out of the fight? Duva and Kovalev They knew when they signed the exclusivity deal that if they lost the purse bid it couldn't be on HBO. It's just as bad as Stevenson signing with Showtime knowing it would kill the fight. If what Stevenson did was a duck this is a duck also! Use the scene as reference go back a year and work slowly forward! At least when Stevenson left for Showtime it was for more money! Kovalev signing with HBO while all this is going on blocks the biggest payday of his career!
Man I'm a Kovalev fan I hate Stevenson too. It's self punishment but you can't deny the facts. Stevenson went to Showtime for more money while Kovalev blocked his biggest payday by signing with HBO.

The hatred for Haymon and Stevenson is real. I'm glad as a Kovalev fan you set the record straight to all the kova****s and haters.
Kovalev's stock has risen, while Stevenson's has plummeted. I remember when people said Stevenson was the more skilled fighter between the two. Kovalev has the better resume. Hopkins and Pascal are better than anyone on Stevenson's resume.
Stevenson is the one who ran to showtime to avoid kovalev though. Why should sergey let Stevenson walk away with 70-25 split?
