Has Kell fought good opposition or not?

He has been a pro for ELEVEN YEARS and I think his resume/level of opposition has been, to be frank, truly shocking.

would you have him on a higher level than a jennings , hatton , or schenko:think

 

he has one of the worst resumes i have ever seen....90% of the fighters on his record are bums.....he is a protected fighter.....hearn knows this is his only cash flow once froch is gone so he is playing it really safe matching him up with nobodies

he is the senchenko of the UK.....he will get squashed eventually by a thurman, maidana, etc. and then will be exposed.

Senchenko and Jones for me are credible wins

and obviously Porter was great opponent

Jones is 'credible'? How?

Porter is great? His best win is Paulie M.

 

Porter is a decent win. Senchenko not bad either, but other than that it ranges from average to nobodies.

 

One of his marquee wins, one of the only names you can recognise Senchenko wasnt even competeive with Malignaggi. says it all.

 

Porter was a good win considering he beat Alexander who beat Maidana.



Carson Jones was a 154 pounder down to welterweight. He used to hop up and down between that weight so i think he was a fairly decent but not great win.


Senchenko was an ok win but nothing special.

Not sure how Hearn gets the blame. Majority of his fights were under w a r r e n. Since going to match room resume not bad at all.

 

I don't know why how long he's been pro or how many fights he's had has to do with it. When he was younger he wasn't ready to fight European or world level. As he'd got older he's got better, gradually increasing the level of opposition, to where he's now at a level were he can compete with the best.

If you look at JM Marquez, he turned pro at 19 and didn't become a World Champion until he was 29 after 43 fights. His resume was "truly shocking" at that point and now he's considered a legend.
