Mayweather promotions thuggery - 2 weeks left, ticket sale mess

    With 2 weeks left for the biggest fight ever there is no contract signed with MGM nor are tickets yet for sale. Arum blasted MGM and Mayweather promotions a few days ago by claiming he has never seen this in 50 years of promoting. Now Pac;s manager is claiming this is a nightmare, that now Al Haymon and Mayweather promotions are trying to change the terms with 2 weeks left. According to Koncz, Mayweather promotions is trying to strike a side deal with MGM to get extra tickets which wasn't what as agreed to originally.


    Okay, so perhaps Arum and Koncz are slightly exaggerating the issue but i still feel strongly tha MAYWEATHER promotions should've never been allowed to be lead promoter for this fight. Ellerbe is an amateur compared to Arum. Mayweather should've respected Arum's 50 years in the business and let him be lead promoter; of course, Floyd is a control freak girl who had to have it all his way.

    Whats laughable is that fool Stephen A. Smith claiming that Ellerbe and Haymon are genius's!He actually said this yesterday on ESPN.

    Haymon, perhaps. Ellerbe comes across more as a amateur thug. All you have to look at is video of the Floyd vs Larry Merchant incident on HBO; Ellerbe was going after the old man, using obscene language. A thug like Ellerbe should've never been allowed to be lead promoter for fight of the century. This is all about Floyd 'da little sissy girl' Mayweather and his insatiable appetite to control everything. Arum, who has 50 years of experience promoting big fights, should've without a doubt, given lead promoter role. Arum is no angel but he is 50 times more professional than Ellerbe and knows the business 100 times better.

    I find it beyond unbelievable that contracts are not yet signed and there are disputes with 2 weeks left. We are talking about the biggest fight in boxing history, Ellerbe has no class and is really in over his head.

    The fight is nearly sold out, moron. 90% of the tickets are already distributed between promoters, casinos, news stations, celebs etc. Who cares if the public can't get their hands on them, the important fact is that most of them are already out. :hi:
