    I am totally disappointed with lucas here i hope he doesnt run try to box him i thought he would go to war with ruslan but the way he is talking is like he will box him ROFL:lol::lol::lol:


    I would like to remind people this might not be a exiting because lucas looks like he will box

    meanwhile ruslan is ready for a firefight FACT!

    If Matthysse doesn't do this, he will lose in my opinion

    So its good strategy on his part

    I fully expected him to come in with this game plan

    Ruslan Provodnikov KO's Lucas Matthysse: I think it’s gonna be a great fight. I know both guys are the real hungry. I see Ruslan taking this fight and maybe even stopping Matthysse. Ruslan’s the real deal. He goes in with everything. He’s no joke. After watching some of Matthysse’s fight with Molina, I just see Ruslan being faster and stronger and I know Matthysse is gonna wanna trade with him and when you look at anyone who trades with Ruslan, even the ones that came out winning came out looking like they lost. It’s gonna be tough for Matthysse. He’s also been knocked down by Danny [Garcia]. I think it’s gonna be a tough fight for him. I think Provodnikov will win by stoppage. He’s relentless, I think he’s real hungry with what happened in the [Chris] Algieri fight. It can be early or it can be late; I think Matthysse is going to find out real quick and I don’t know if he can keep Ruslan off him.

    Ruslan Provodnikov to beat Lucas Matthysse: I talk about that fight every day. That is a great fight. That is one of the best fights you are gonna see this year. I think it’s gonna be fight of the year. I think Lucas Matthysse has devastating power, as well as Ruslan Provodnikov. I know Ruslan because Tim Bradley fought him. At the same time, this fight is going to rely on who can take the hardest punch; they can both hit. In my opinion, I think Ruslan can take a better punch.

    If Lucas Matthysse wants to go to war with Provodnikov, he’s gonna get hurt because you saw John Molina dropped him a couple of times. I think Ruslan takes a better punch. They can both hit but who takes the hardest punch? If Lucas Matthysse was training with me – he trained with us before the Danny Garcia fight. He was a great boxer – if he can box and not let Ruslan establish his punches, anybody can beat Ruslan as long as you move, you can beat him. If you start to punch with him, that is the worst mistake. If Lucas Matthysse uses his great boxing ability, he will beat Ruslan. At the end of the day, I think Ruslan wins this fight.

    Its the fact everyone is expecting fire works and for lucas to start boxing will be a big let down

    Go fck yourself that is how Lucas normally fights...he isn't a dumb face first brawler like Provo and Rios.

    He is boxing - it's a boxing match what else do you expect. Get over it or stop watching the sport.

    Matthysse could face first brawl and STILL quite easily beat Provo anyway...

    Its a great game plan if he goes straight forward the whole fight like against Molina hes getting knocked out and I think he knows theres a chance of it happening thats why he will stay on the outside and box.

    Matthysse vowed to never let a fight go to the scorecards since Judah & Alexander. Matthysse is going to box him then once Provo loses his wind and is getting busted up Lucas will be the one pressing the action looking for a late TKO.

    It's Lucas Matthysse folks. He is the one going to be giving the action here and he prefers to fight coming forward rather than backwards.

    Many example of extremely tough fighters who have come under fire from Lucas and literally took a beating of a lifetime. Iron chins arn't always good. As Provo will find out.

    The reason why this fight got so much attention was because people were led to believe it will be a slug fest and for lucas to run will throw a spanner in the works FACT
