I doubt Joshua is afraid, it's the way he is being managed. It is time to go up a level however. Get him in with someone like Hammer or Cunningham, not big punchers but a step up in quality that should give him rounds and a measure of his ability.
Good post. Agree that he is being carefully managed. As long as his opposition continually improves, and I think broadly speaking it is, then he'll get there.

I doubt it, it would be his management that decide anyway. He hasn't even been a pro that long and compared to other top heavyweights he's doing just fine after 11 fights.

No rush with Joshua. He's still technically a novice in the sport. He's got all the tools. He just lacks the experience. Like if TT faced him, I'd see another shock KO with the rabbit punches and other stuff the more experienced pros know.
If he fought the Thompson that fought Price I would be with you entirely, however anyone that saw TT against an even fatter Solis knows that he is ripe for the picking.

is joshuas early career any different to any other up and coming rising star , give the lad a break , he can only fight one fight at a time , he will be moved up soon enough like they all are eventually .
