    So I guess the same logic applies to the merely "decent" Marvin Hagler then?

    If he was fighting in a weak division like the current middleweight class this may be a valid point. But there has been a stack of talent at 168 over the last few years and Froch has fought the majority of the top guys.

    How can you even begin to compare Hagler with Froch? That's an insult.

    What amazing SMW's are currently around? Froch's best win is a guy Calzaghe destroyed years before when Kessler was actually in his prime.

    I think it's stupid that he doesn't move up to face someone like Stevenson who's been calling him out for years. Stevenson himself being a career SMW and also only in the last few years moved up to LHW. If the guys at LHW had a significant size advantage over him then I could understand his reticence in moving up, but that is clearly not the case here. Either way Froch has said he will never move up, so the book is closed on the warrior/international superstar @ 175.
