You do realize Pacquiao has done the same thing. He has ether Enforced a catchweight to drain, cotto, Oscar, or fought guys coming off loss, Clottey, mosely, rios. Pacquiao has shown a pattern of ether waiting until a guy looks less then stellar, or going with a catchweight to gain a advantage. Roach himself has said it, facts :deal

No he has not fought the best

You telling me if he fought margo, prime mosley, williams sergio martinez, prime pac (2009) he wouldnt of faced adversity?

He has never had to dig deep because he has not fought the hard fights this will be a big problem remember how he lost his mind with just a little cut against maidana?

Indeed. What I would ask though is has he ever been in a war wherein he's traded knockdowns and come out with the win the hard way? That's what I would consider 'going to the gates of hell'

Mayweather hasn't either but that's neither here nor there.

Mayweather does not have a fighters heart. if it can get into the trenches with him really hurt he will panic and give up.

I'll humour you. What Pac fights would you consider wars?

Where has he come through brutal adversity to win? That is going to the gates of hell. Being outboxed by a guy you knocked down three times in the opening stanzas is not going to the gates of hell.

Not particularly noteworthy in boxing. Impressive but nothing spectacular.

He was also beating the living day lights out of Margo so I'd hardly call that the gates of hell.

Cotto? Haha. All I saw was Pac assault Cotto. That was a one sided beat down and one of Pac's most impressive wins hardly the gates of hell.

Morales? He lost handily so not sure what you're getting at.

    This person speaks sense.
Boxing master is just a little kid troll.

Gives all the credit to pac for fighting with damaged ribs but floyds had broken hands/damager rotator cuff (the exact same thing vitali quit on his stool with i believe) Why aren't you giving floyd credit for these?

The only reason he's never been to the gates of hell is because he's boxings equivalent of holy water :deal:

People go to the gates of hell because they have to not because they choose to :deal:
