tbh I put since he lost Garcia fight and it's not really because he lost the fight, more the fact that since that fight he has not redeemed himself and rather seems to be chasing a final big payday fight that he does not deserve and probably will never get... With Khan its more out of frustration than a dislike for the guy personally that has lead me to kind of stop following his career and supporting him as I used to.

 

I have always liked his boxing. Never really liked or disliked him as a person but the hatred he gets makes me hope he wins just to annoy the haters.

 

For me after the Garcia fight. The blaming it all on roach, the continued cherry picking since that loss, the crying over not getting Mayweather and ridiculously claiming Mayweather is scared to fight him really turned me off Khan.

 

The amount of hatred levelled at Khan when he started off as a pro was as big as it is now. Many posters would swear on their life at the time that he would never win a genuine belt.

In reality not much has changed. He is a good boxer, but not as good as he thinks and frequently says he is. He is also not very bright, lacks charisma and not exactly the most likeable person out there. A few posters have an issue with him being a Pak!stani too.

Still you can't deny that he has had a pretty good career to date so far, he just isn't a P4P talent.

 

After Peterson.

 

It was Sky's insulting of our intelligence in the build up to Prescott (Which backfired on them) and having Oisin ***an- a part time boxer on PPV. I stopped liking him when he became a cash making product and not a boxer. That said, he has taken on some decent opponents over his career since he went stateside.

 

Respect Khan as a fighter but have never been a huge fan.. Just find him delusional and some of the stuff he comes out with is just talk of a mad man. When he was going on like Floyd owed him a fight it was not a good Look and then the 5 day deadline.. Lol

Outside of boxing he seems like a cool guy. Very charitable and he is a Muslim brother.

 

He's done more than enough in the ring and for the boxing community to warrant my absolute respect. I think your poll has backfired considering 'still a fan' is on top at present. Ha ha ha.

 

always loved his fights... haven't see his last two. just not making interesting fights. There are plenty of interesting fights out there for him aswell!

Khan lost me when he started with the "If I was white I'd be a superstar in Britain and around the world" rubbish and he has got even more delusional of late.
