Right man, you must know everything about the sport.

That's a great plan. Throw away the first 6 rounds, and then find your range.

    Excellent advice.

Get out of here man. It should take 2 rounds to find your range. MAX.

It's not like Delorme is a magnificent boxer. He has one speed.

Game plan and strategy kid......TC moved up. He had to test things out and feel things out. But he was controlling the pace, distance and rhythm Rd 2 on..... read My earlier post.....I said TC is patient and has this fight wrapped up. The writing was on the wall from my scope.

Yes but when neither is landing anything the aggressor gets the round, that's how it usually goes.

Interesting, did Ruslan light the candles in church before this fight?

Crawford vs. the Lucas/ Ruslan winner would be great. And you get the impression that when the guys say they would take the fight, they actually would.

    I'm going bold

Matthysee wins and quickly, inside 3 rounds.

Well, maintaining distance, timing a guy with light jabs to get a sense of how & when he attacks, breaking him down as you find his weaknesses - that's all part of the game. If executed correctly, it leads to rounds like the 6th - which, if you didn't find entertaining...

All maybe a bit too nuanced for you?

Not true punches vary in quality. If the puncher that landed two shots and those were two booming power shots the guy that landed the three light jabs loses the round. FACT

I still say Crawford can't handle intelligent pressure, and a jab. I hope he fights postol.

Look man, I disagree. I saw the same thing. I saw a dude stinking up my cable bill.

If that fight would have went 12 rounds like that, I would never ever watch a Crawford fight again.

It should not take 6 rounds to feel a guy like Dulorme out who is as basic as they come and only fights in one speed.

Crawford risked a lot. The thing is, boxing is corrupt.

They give it to the guy they want to win. He probably won every damn round on the cards.

I don't care if you're controlling distance, if you're not doing anything, you're not working.

If you don't work, you get fired.

    Period.

Decent again from Crawford. He has huge potential.

Would like to see him take on a couple of big names at this weight soon.

    No. That isn't written anywhere.

    That is a common misconception.

    Blind ineffective aggression never scores.

If you really can't split them, call it even, 10-10.

Alternately, don't be lazy - actually look closely at what's landed. You'll find with a sharp eye you can usually split them.

In the 1st-4th, Crawford threw very little but was efficient & economical, landing just enough light jabs to be scoring more than Dulorme was missing all his flash 1-1-2s and body shots (even being generous and counting the grazing ones as "connects")

Bunce is a coward and a liar... when he used to visit the Boards, he was asked if 50-50 was offered to Haye by Wladamir (when the fight was in negotiations) Bunce told the person no he knew for a fact it wasn't... then a 2 days later it came out and i called Bunce on it then about 20 minutes later he deleted his reply to the original poster who asked him the question and tried to claim he never said it.. until the thread was shown where it shows the poster replying to him then he just ducked out. :hi:
