Provodnikov's claim to fame is being able to soak up damage and still come forward, while throwing punches. But the dude just comes forward in straight lines, doesn't know what a jab is, doesn't utilize head movement, not to mention, he's flat footed... Gatti, the blood and guts brawler, would look like a master boxer against this dude╮(╯_╰╭
Ruslan is more like a rich man's Ward imo. As with Ward, Gatti would be drawn into a war with a slower, less skilled opponent. However, Ruslan with his power would stop Gatti imo.
Yea but he can't judge distance, has no timing, no jab, can't cut off the ring, doesn't know how to work in a clinch or deny a clinch, can't set traps or avoid traps, can't adjust, he's pretty much loses all the big fights he participates in and thinks his mitt boy will win trainer of the year when he hasn't helped him develope anything. His corner was **** in the fight also.
Everyone who fights in brutal fights seems to get compared to Gatti. Provo is coming up short against, but against better fighters. Bradley would have an easier time with Gatti than he did with Provo. Hatton was a considerably better fighter than Ward.
Provodnikov would smash Gatti and he would also have the sense not to get himself killed in a hotel room by a Brazilian tranny unlike Gatti.
Hatton is far better than Ward. Ward was a journeyman at best, Hatton sure as hell isn't. It's comical how idiots underrate Hatton is for losing to two P4P#1 fighters.
have to agree, the Roach gang hasn't done squat with Provo. cus d'amato would've made a killer out of him.
