Chavez jr looked terrible against Fonfara. I don't know whether it was ring rust or he is shot or he is fighting too far above his natural weight. He looked like a pub brawler

 

Hardly surprising that Chavez (who is a 168lber at the most) got beaten up by a big LHW in Fonfara, a man that gave Stevenson fits

 

Pretty much this. Nobody touted Chavez as a challenge. In fact he was sold as pretty much the opposite. He was an inexplicable big name who could draw in Vegas and would provide Froch with a nice big payday before he rides off into the sunset.

No sane person actually gave Jr. a chance of winning that fight.
