Unfortunately Carl's career will be a showcase in what happens when you have a greedy promoter.

His best win is a bloke beaten twice by Rendall Munroe and he is consistently being priced out of facing a live opponent.

Pretty obvious his team have no faith in him.

I'm just bitterly disappointed. If Hearn was asking for options on Frampton should he win then I'd understand their refusal better.

How much is this fight worth? That's the real question. Frampton will pull in at least 100k views from Northern Ireland and maybe as high as 250k (that's how highly regarded he is here), and he'd put 20-30k bums on seats no worries. As such he definitely deserves the lions share, but honestly I don't think this fight is going to do massive numbers in the UK mainland.

And a lot of people are saying, of it does 8 million then Eddie and Quigg get 6.5 mil, eh, no they don't. Sky doesn't run PPVs for charity

Framptons purse for Martinez was reported at 250k. His team are turning down 6 times that because they are worried how much Hearn and Quigg will make?

Will Frampton have to go through another 6 training camps and world title fights to earn that money? And then if he gets injured? And what if he loses?

Shane McGuigan has hinted he may outgrow the division so the Quigg payday won't always be there.

You honestly think Frampton gets a million for fighting Rigondeaux.
There is no chance of Barry paying the cash to bring a lad over to destroy his cash cow.

Stop talking out of your **** and give your mouth a chance.

Rigo won't be coming to Belfast for peanuts.

ITV will not be paying big bucks to show a fight between two midgets who most casuals and the general public will never of heard of.

Who will be bank rolling this huge fight ?

Unless they get Sky involved they simply will not have the money.

    This place gets worse

£1.5m is a decent lump of money for a small fighter though. That'd set you up for life. I think if I were in Frampton's position, I would regret not taking it

He could end up making more though. We'll see.
