Zero endorsement deals yet he's the highest paid athlete :deal there is a reason he's where he is, love him or hate him y'all talk about him all day.
The joke was lost in translation. For those that speak two or more languages we know how some jokes just dont translate. I did get his point which was a man on death row gets whatever last meal he wants before he is excecuted. He gave floyd all the demands floyd wanted before he executes floyd in the ring. That being said lets not act like floyd is quick witted hes not. anything slick that he says isnt spontaneous but rehe****d. Floyds wit is about as quick as two old people having ***.
I'm not a big fan of Flody but calling him a bad business man and not smart is a bit of a stretch. He has built an empire and a brand, the Mayweather brand is huge. He's the highest paid athlete in sports, not just boxing. I agree with you on other points, he's not a very likable guy. He's hit women; his own son called him a coward; no woman wants to stay with him for long; he loves flashing his 20 bugattis, private jet and paper money.. He comes across to me a big B ITCH, not a real man. He fights like a b tch too but in all fairness to him, he avoids getting hit which i guess i would make priority #1 if i were a fighter. In any event, he has been whining about so many things, making controversial statements on race, beating women, making insulting comments about Pacquiao and others etc.... Part of it may be him purposefully building this unlikeable image to get fans, the kind that want him to lose and pay to watch his fights. Who knows how much of this unlikeable, empty hearted, disrespectful and b itchy person he really is but it's the way he's wanted it.
On your first point thats ALL Al Haymon dont be fooled. Floyds the talent and Haymon is the brains behind the operation. FLOYD ISNT DUMB BUT HES NOT AS BRIGHT AS PEOPLE MAKE HIM OUT TO BE! Its real. Its who he is. I dont judge floyd too harshly on all the brash, flashy im so great stuff. Hes a fighter and should have that attitude but the wife beating, spending more money on gambling then on helping the less fortunate, never having anything important to say,not trying to build the sport of boxing and not challenging himself in the ring and robbing fans of several great fights and of course ducking manny and lying about why the fight didnt happen for so long.Throwing hissy fits whenever hes challenged. Getting butthurt because some women doesnt know who he is etc... the guy is wack!
But the story is remarkable. It's an amazing story. Some kid from the streets of a third world country, no Olympics, no major media, nothing, became not only a major success and an icon, but an inspiration who backs up his talk with his actions. Mayweather worked hard no doubt to get where he's at, but he's a real piece of ****. He's a terrible role model and he acts like he's entitled. The thing is this, it doesn't matter what you did. God can squash your ass like a bug. You ain't ****. You still take a **** like anyone else.
nah, I wasn't going in favoring one over the other. I want as much as I can get from both sides. Just unbiased opinion and one that works in production, I thought HBO had the better storyline, editing, cinematography, and score. It all came together beautifully, and they made something that we've already seen have a fresh face to it.
