The number 9 and Manny is significant for whatever that's worth.

Do not bet your house even if Floyd fights a 60 year old hobo.

The clip in "At Last" of Mayweather going off on a diatribe about how Pacquiao was picked FOTD and not him proved it.

I think Mayweather over his career has felt hurt and disrespected. Max Kellerman explained it once and I agree. When Mayweather was young, he felt he was the best fighter, a special talent and that no one could see it. And he was right.

After he beat ODLH, he declared, "I'm never being the B-side again," and continued on proving on he is the best of our generation. And still, he didn't get the credit he deserved.

Then, comes along Manny Pacquiao who was a fighter on his undercard. Early on, people were exalting Pacquiao and it kind of put Mayweather into the shadows. Pacquiao was stealing his fame per-say, and Mayweather probably didn't understand because Mayweather was undefeated and Pacquiao had lost 3 times.

Now, Pacquiao gets named FOTD, a HUGE accomplishment, and it kind of goes back on how Mayweather is disrespected and underrated. You could almost here the hurt in his voice, "How can you name a fighter FOTD when he lost in a decade, and I was champion for over a decade." I think he wanted the award, felt he would get it, deserved it, and Pacquiao took it.

He once again felt hurt as if no one truly acknowledge how special he was, and instead was giving all this attention and glory to a fighter who's lost and who hadn't been reigning as long as him. Then, Mayweather gets 0 endorsements while Pacquiao gets NIKE, Pistachio's, Wild Rabbit, Nestle... it's like no one recognized how great he is, and he's hurt by that.

I feel bad for him. It really wasn't fair. It wasn't until after Pacquiao's KO that people quieted down, but even then, people still supported him. I feel Mayweather knows, and he even says, that he doesn't understand why people were calling for the Pacquiao fight after Pac was KO'ed because, "If that was me who got KO'ed like that, no one would even want to see the fight." And in a way, he's right. Pacquiao seems to get the respect, attention, and glory that Mayweather always felt he deserved and it brings along a jealousy against Pacquiao.

If he wins May 2nd, then he may truly get all of that and will forever force people to know that he was TBE of our era.

So, you can say with 100% confidence and evidence, that Mayweather handpicked these three guys? And Manny's team has zero input to the judges/ref?

No contract signed...no tickets... Manny's PED deposition. The Floyd Sr./Ariza apparent fight. All a little suspicious.

Anyone else think it could all be cancelled just like that?

:nod Of course he is, Manny has beaten all of their shared opponents better than Floyd, except for maybe Marquez, but even then dropped him more than Floyd did.

Considering Mayweather sees himself as the best fighter ever, I bet he was pretty jealous that Pacquiao was named FOTD.
