Jennings game plan for winning.

-Bob and Weave
-Put pressure and come at angles, not straight.
Wlad panics when you rush him. He will try to clinch.
-Punch when Wlad The Squid grabs you
-Don't jab with him. Wlad has good jab

What do you think his game plan should be?

 

Basically, don't stand still and move your hands..

Just punch him.

 

Let his hands go at range (he has long arms) move and give some angles standing still will get his head taken off. Punch in the clinch like Pulev did, it ain't expressly legal but he has to make the fight ugly at times to get to Klitschko and have a chance

 

Bring a pillow and a blanket (and possibly a bib).

 

That's not his style at all though. Jennings is good, but has the wrong style to beat or even trouble Wlad for that matter. Takam and Perez have a better chance at causing problems for Wlad than he does, even if it isn't great. Jennings isn't the hardest of punchers either, he'll need more than a couple to get Wlad out of there.

 

Eat garlic and roll himself in feces to keep Wlad's hugging to a minimum.

hope that a heretofore undiagnosed congenital heart defect fells Wlad moments after the first bell.

 

He'll just need to become someone else on fight night, it'll be fine.

 

I think it's more hope hope and some more hope

 

Forget trying to beat him to the jab, forget fighting on the back foot or trying to work the body.

It's all about bobing and weaving, getting in and landing big overhands.
It's a simple one when you look at it.

But the problem fighters have is getting the distance and timing right to do this! If you fall short and throw from too far away your getting hooked, if your too close you won't land and vlad drains you by holding on.

Vlad is very good at knowing what position to be in and judging the distance, his jab is good and his height and reach are already an advantage for that style of keeping on the end of a jab/one two.

 

Jennings has less power than pulev.

 

Awhile back I thought an in shape stiverne could have some success against vlad

 

Once Jennings gets hit, the fight will change. Jennings can't take Vlad's punches. Jennings has the referee on his side, he has the judges and boxing commission, but Vlad will still knock him out. Vlad can punch with either hand................
