On the first chance, Marquez outboxed him to a draw. Floyd shut him out. I get that you're a pacquiao fan, but don't try to ppretend like Marquez isn't poison to Pacquiao and always was.

I agree that Floyd doesn't get at much credit as he deserves but its partly his fault. In order to be relevant he marketed himself to be the villain. He got the attention he wanted, good and bad, he profited from it but along with it came the criticisms. No doubt Floyd is the greatest technical fighter of his time but casual fans don't appreciate that, they prefer KO's. If he had a cleaner image, I wouldnt be surprised if more people will want him to retire undefeated.

So you're comparing an old Nash against these guys? Forgot about Parker though. My bad.

CP3, he can go play reserve on Star Wars. Westbrook, hell naw! Rondo definitely had plenty of help.

He was a key piece to why they beat the Lakers. Without him they wouldn't of won. Kidd like you mentioned and Parker easily.

The timing of Ariza's suit is way too obvious.

okay, many things to be addressed here.

you want us to feel sorry for Floyd? sure, a guy with 20 bugattis, private jets and an ego as big as the solar system? please

NOW, two key points where you are not quite hitting the nail on the head.

    1. Poor Floyd hasn't gotten the endorsements and poor Floyd hasn't gotten the respect. Do you not think, for a second that this due to his woman beating? and disrespectful ways towards many? Who wants to endorse a guy that beats up women? Who wants to respect a guy that is so disrespectful towards others and isn't a good role model? Remember when he called Manny a 'yellow chump'? all the whining, all the accusations, all the insults... the guy is hard to like. Many respect his boxing skills, but not him a person.

    2. Floyd was deserving of fighter of the decade. Surely he was considered but there are strong arguments to make to give it to Pacquiao. Between 2000-2010, there are very very VERY strong arguments to be made in favor of Pacquiao. Pacquiao had memorable battles with Marquez (2 fights), Morales (3 fights), Barrera (2 fights).. these were exciting great fights. He then reached his peak and went through one of the most devastating streaks in boxing history. The way he destroyed Diaz, DLH, Hatton, Cotto was nothing short of amazing. Keep in mind, Pacquiao started much smaller than Floyd and went up weight classes and no-one ever thought he could even get in the ring with guys like DLH. Arum is on record saying that many thought it was CRAZY to put Manny in the ring with DLH... Pacquiao was fighting at 122! in 2000 and here he was facing DLH, beating the **** out of him...and later Cotto. This has probably never been seen in boxing history. Not only did he beat these guys, he destroyed them, same guys Floyd struggled with. Lastly, fighter of the decade also probably has something to do with his fighting style - he is much more exciting than Floyd and has produced more fan friendly fights. The fact that he's extremely talented and shows an offense as good as anyone in history, goes without saying.

So... i think it's complete BS to think Floyd was the clear fighter of the decade (but it he was snubbed) and to think he doesn't get endorsements nor respect cause for no good reason. Pac more than deserved that award and there are 100 reasons why Floyd doesn't get respect (personally) nor endorsements!

    abuffy, you should know better..

MVP has nothing to do with the playoffs.. Who are these athletes that surrounded him? Stoudemire? Shawn Marion? lol He made everyone better and was took his team to #1 and #3 respectively while averaging 20/10 and going 50%fg/40% 3pt fg/ 90% ft...

Oh yeah.. Who cares who's jealous of who?
