or someone tried to use peds and got caught. the drug testing has been the biggest issue at the start of negotiations and now that it's happening it was limited to usada only and all tests not published to pursue the campaign on cleaning up the sport since this is the most popular fight happening. there are too many unironed wrinkles for a big event and it's already very close to fight date.

 

Manny and Floyd have been training hard so only reason stuff may hit the fan will be if one of them got injured and trying hard to find a way to cleverly get out. Let's say Floyd got a bad injury and wants out, he can tell Ellerbe to screw sh it up to the point where fight gets called off. Same thing on Pac side, Pac injured and arum is doing what he can to mess it up.

Having said this, it seems like Ellerbe and Sturm hold the cards and for whatever reason, they are stalling the sale to the public and apparently changing terms on original agreement, something i can't believe arum is lying about.

 

But it was postponed months in advance because Tyson bit Lewis at a brawl announcing the press conference. It wasn't postponed 10 days before the fight.

They haven't even agreed and signed a contract yet.
