oh, and Clottey didn't even drop Judah, he stopped him due to cuts, it makes me wonder if you actually watched the fight, or if you're just a wikipedia fan.

bottom of the barrel, would be the last or 2nd to last WORST WIN
I would lose made respect if Floyd ever entertained wasting a camp of a journeyman that is more afraid to win than he is to lose

Really, the ONLY reason anyone rates Clottey at all is because Pacquiao fought him, and Pac****s wanna act like Clottey was some great fighter.

He is still better than the last 3 out of the last 5 opponents Mayweather has faced.

The fact is, Clottey was a B-level fighter AT BEST.

Cotto actually has accomplished more than Clottey.

How long was his prime, 1 fight, the catch weight vs Berto? That's the only time he beat a top tenner. Failed to do it 6x, mostly quitting

Clottey was a B fighter at best. Even a headbutt that gashed Cotto couldn't help Clottey finish that fight and win. Clottey was C+/B level at his highest.

Surprised it has not been mentioned yet..

But Clottey did dominate Corrales, who was only 29 and coming off a close loss to Casamayor.

Isn't the great Corrales supposed to be May's best win?

Based on what? Again: Please tell us what Clottey accomplished at 147 pounds in his ENTIRE CAREER?

As non-impressive as you think Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana, or Judah may be at 147, these guys accomplished MORE in a short period than Clottey did at 147 pounds in his entire career.

Clottey is only being rated this highly (by a certain group known as Pacturds) because he fought Pacquiao. The man literally did absolutely nothing significant in his entire career at 147.

You're talking about a guy who could never break through, was always a "gate keeper," and saying he is a more legit opponent compared to fighters who actually won world titles in the division. Think about it. Man fought for over 10 years in a division and guys who only fought a short period of time did more than he did. Clottey is a "finds a way to lose his biggest fights" kind of guy.

Mayweather beat Corrales at 130. Corrales' loss to Clottey was at 147.
