Why is Michael Buffer the only good MC?

    Just checked : Dr Ching-kuo Wu is the president of AIBA. He joined in 2013 and was his first involvement in boxing its hard to think he could have amassed anywer near 400 m in just over a year. So no way he has been boxings biggest earner

    The current crop of announcers is quite good, actually. Joe Martinez has the best catch-phrase, while Lupe Contreras arguably has the best voice and delivery. Diamante isn't bad at all, either.

    His wealth dwarves that of anyone else involved in the sport. His earnings from boxing might not be huge though.

    Lennon Jr is the 2nd best behind Buffer IMO.

    Buffer adds the most excitement, but he does often try to add too much drama.

    "One loss, to one man....And now, he has his chance at redemption" (or some **** like that)

    And once he even said something like "the phrase you've been waiting for" or "the phrase known around the world" or something like that. Yes, we like "Let's Get Ready to Rumble!!!", but we're watching for the FIGHTERS, not you! :lol:

    his brother is incredibly annoying, Lennon has ZERO charisma - hell Jenna, Rummy or Frank Stea would do a MUCH better job that that bland nobody

    I know what you mean about the rumble thing. But if id paid money to go watch an event, a big part of the Event would be Mike's Lets Get Ready to Rumble

    Because Buffer's voice for boxing is the equivalent of Morgan Freeman's voice for narration.
