It's not that we would never try... it's just used more often for arm wrestling comparisons, world strongest man types, olympics, etc. "Qui aura le dessus?" is used often, translating more less to 'who's gonna come out on top?'.

Didn't know you knew so much French though. Is that a side effect of hearing Habs fans at Bruins games? :hey

Excusez-moi. Avez-vous déjà entendu parler de Google traducteur?

Yeah, I'm really unimpressed with Lemieux so far. They've been matching him really light since those back to back losses in 2011. He gets a lot of hype for his knockout power, but I think GGG, Quillin, Lee, Eubank Jr, Murray, Rubio, and maybe one or two other guys beat him at middle. He'll be an interesting contender though.

I'm really happy for him, actually, not trying just to be a hater or anything - he did improve over the last couple years and has obviously put in hard work to do so, more power to him - he just isn't some middleweight destroyer now. Like I've seen comments that make him out to be on his way to becoming the clear #2 behind Golovkin, this year. :blood

That would take quite some doing, IMO.

50/50 fight. I'll roll with N'Dam for my pick, though. Lemeiux has too many gaping limitations (not that N'Dam doesn't as well, but still...).

I don't think anybody at middleweight has the kind of talent or ambition to pull that off. You could leapfrog right up the rankings with three good fights there's such thin pickings on the ground, but everyone is too scared protecting their cherry0's.

Exactly. If this were Golovkin vs. N'Dam, I'd be a lot more worried about the Frenchman's penchant (hey that kind of rhymes :p) for getting caught off-balance and put down.

As it happens, there is more irreparably flawed in Lemieux's game (even the "new & improved" Lemieux) than in N'Dam's, and his weaknesses play to N'Dam's strengths more than vice-versa.

I picked draw. I could actually see it happen. Lemeiux scoring 2 or 3 knock downs with N'dam winning the majority of the rounds. Don't think it would be out of the question!

That's it that's all, comme on dit au Québec.

Hassan has great footwork but I also think that if the mule can force him on the ropes or to trade on the inside he can get Hassan out but not too early:thumbsup

Uppercuts incoming. N'Dam is very good at going low to dodge hooks and straight rights... the minute he stays stationary against the ropes is where David shines.

I'll be backing Lemmy all the way. At least he will have the guts to fight Golovkin if he wins.
