Scott will take shots right back and Kiko is strong as ****, Martinez was Euro level in his early twenties, he has peaked by his late twenties and is most definately world level now, he got all of his experience in the pro ranks.

Kikos resume is no worse than the Martinez Ricky beat for his title

Let's not forget Kiko won his title against a much, MUCH better fighter than Yoandris Salinas, who Quigg couldn't stop, and he was embarrassingly destroyed by a journeyman in his next fight

Either way atleast Quigg is fighting someone with a pulse but imo this is a lose/lose fight for Quigg

if he wins easily, ppl will say kiko was ruined by Frampton and if he gets tested by him then ppl wil say Frampton is in a diff league

I cannot see how Quigg wins in this situation

I think Quigg will do a good job on Martinez. It's not the fight we want but if it does get signed I won't slate Hearn/Quigg as it's at least better opposition then the usual bums

Imagine if Khan was fighting Gavin and Brook was fighting Algieri, Algieri would be talked up as a 147 beast on here.

Couldn't agree more mate, honestly you're bang on. If Martinez announced a fight with a twice beaten (once KO'd) Quigg victim this form would be terrorising him. I don't want Kiko to win because it ends any real possibility of that fight - but it'd be great if this backfired on Hearn.

Frampton has already fought a twice-beaten Martinez.

Took two titles off him though didn't he, he isn't defending his paper title against a fighter who was smashed to pieces by your direct rival twice.

    Utterly irrelevant.

Everyone knows Martinez is a come forward plodder who is exposed at world level.

We should be talking about Quigg - Frampton on the 18th of July, but sadly Carl is ducking Quigg. :-(

    Exposed @ world lvl?

I think former world champions such as Jeffrey Mathebula who Kiko stopped (who Donaire couldnt) and Jonatan Romero and multi weight world champ Hozumi Hasegawa would disagree with you there

Just like the Amir fans who are slating Gavin even though there boy refuses to take the fight himself, frampton fans doing the exact same
