Wlad To Floyd, "You Are Not The King Because You Say You Are"

Even Floyd's uncles and father never agree that Floyd is the greatest, they always say he's one of "em".

Yep. Can you imaging how salty they will be when Floyd destroys Pacman and retires undefeated?

 

Is Wlad talking about Floyd as the pound for pound king? If so, Wlad is mistaken. Floyd never gave himself that distinction. Thats a mythical title that gets many more votes than the one Floyd turns in.

 

Floyd knows he's not the best this is just a way for him to make people angry (saying im he best ever) so they'll tune in to see him lose..

I don't really have an issue with Mayweather declaring himself the best ever, Ali did it all the time with his "I'm the greatest" catchphrase.

But the difference is Ali backed up his claim by fighting everyone there was to fight. Mayweather's resume simply doesn't look like the resume of a fighter who is the best ever despite him having his 0.

Even now with him finally facing Pac, it's a calculated decision. He's near the end of his career and his PPV numbers are dropping, if he is to ever cash out against Pac this is the time. He waited until Pac looked vulnerable and was even KO'ed before making the fight. It's like that scene in Gladiator when the emperor stabs Maximus before going into the arena, Mayweather has seen Pac wounded and only now wants the fight having seen his opponents weakness. That isn't the actions of the best ever the best ever would have already likely had a trilogy with Pac and come out on top.

 

It means that Americans compile the lists?

The HW champion is always #1 by default, PFP lists were created forthe 5ft manlets.

 

This is correct. The muricans have no decent fighters from 160 upwards. So need to make these petty little lists.

 

Do you really think Mayweather is going to be remembered fondly when he retires?

He will likely beat Pac yet not go down as better or be remembered as well. Mayweather will be forgotten when he is retired due to his fighting style and ability to duck fighters.

 

Floyd will always have haters, there is no escaping that. But most knowledgeable boxing fans will remember him fondly.

What's so bad about Floyd's fighting style? He is 100x times more enjoyable to watch than Wlad 'the hugging machine' Klitschko, Erislandy 'the sprinter' Lara, and Ruslan 'no skill' Provodnikov.

 

I wouldn't put it past Wlad to suggest a defence.

Floyd would last longer then wilder
