Shocking for this fight to be happening, Smith will be shown a lesson against a very good boxer

Being robbed twice against AA? :nono
First time was close, second time was very NOT close.
He has no chance against Ward. Even a ring-rusty Ward will easily outmatch him.

    Good luck to Paul Smith.

People might want to make a laugh and joke, but nobody in there right mind would turn down the recent opportunities he's had presented so he's obviously going to bite Eddie's hand off!

In a day and age where everyone slags fighters off for "ducking", Smith's had the ***** to jump in with Groves, Degale, Abraham x2 & now Ward deserves credit whether he came up short or not.

I thought it was a bad fight anyway but for the WBA title? Really? FFS

Surely one of us must be in line for a shot at a world title... I'll take "step aside" money and food, £5 and a pizza, also throw in a can of soft drink and it is a done deal.

Good post, though i think he definitely won first fight though lost the second defiantly too. I really like Paul Smith but don't think he will go past 6-7 rounds with Ward, hope I am wrong. I also don't blame him for taking the fight to provide for his family, take my hat of for him, and I hope that he is physical ok and comes through fight safely.

It's obviously quite shocking that Paul Smith gets a third world title fight when he didn't even beat anyone to earn his first one, but you can't really blame him for taking the fight. Of course it will be a mismatch and he will lose but he has nothing to lose by getting outclassed by the best super middleweight in the world and he earns a decent paycheck at the same time.
