Framptons thoughts r irrelevant really.... the facts r talking here as opposed to anyones opinion.... And ive only ever heard Carl speak highly of Kiko? And also, many fighters are one-dimentional, that means nothing when considering if they r world class or not, boxers who r world class in many dimensions r few and far between
Most people on here said Kiko in last Frampton fight was hardest test of Framptons career now soon after he is fighting Quigg and he is a dud lol. Fact is he was never great in first place but he is no dud, and i can see him v Quigg style making it one of fights of the year until Scott 'Underrated' Quigg knocks him out
So you get all of your opinions from Carl Frampton then? Kiko went to America and ripped the title from an undefeated champ (who Frampton picked to win btw) on HBO then defended by KO against two former champs including a multiple weight one, making him a top 4 fighter in the division (and ahead of Quigg) ergo: world level we could say that Scott Quigg struggling to a draw against a fighter who isn't even regional level in Yoandris Salinas puts a lot of doubt about his world class credentials, but I'm an honest person and think that would be unfair on Scott.
This an excellent point..even Nonito himself is pretty one dimensional when you look beneath the "flash"
Quigg hasn't got the necessary experience to beat a vet like Kiko. This is a big step-up for Scott, and one that I can't see him faring well in. Kiko between Round 9-10.
I think comparing a former world titlist and European champ to the never done diddly squat Frankie Gavin is a bit of a stretch. And I ain't no Khan fight. This is a good fight, and a decent step up for Quigg. The Gavin fight is a complete joke.
If it is Kiko, Scotts size, height and power will be the biggest factor but if he can't keep Kiko off like Carl did then he's in trouble (see Jhonatan Romero). Good fight though.
