He's also beaten two top 20 heavyweights which is more than most in the division have bothered to do.

    Wlad's resume in a nutshell:
    1. Haye
    2. Byrd
3-66. Golfers, mailmen, cab drivers, truck drivers, janitors

Are you seriously repeating what James "The Buffet King" Toney said long ago?. He made fun of fighters RJJ was fighting back then only to fight and lose to them. Tarver did the same thing only to lose to Harding, who RJJ later destroyed. I wouldn't compare RJJ or anyone else's era with the pathetic state of the Heavyweight division today. No one got a title shot back then for purely trash talking(David Haye and soon Shannon Briggs).

What is so funny if he has been working with his honor? I respect him a great deal for that. He wasnt pimping like Stevenson or robbing people like Hopkins and a good deal of other well known boxers.

HBO should pick up the "bank" angle again. They called Calvin Brock "the boxing banker". Jennings should be hyped as the "boxing janitor -- who works in a bank" :deal

Yea this fight is getting more criticism than it deserves. Jennings has done more than most who get a shot

I quite like Jennings and that fact he works an honest job for prob not much pay should be commended.

He's beaten a couple of contenders and in this era deserves his shot. That doesn't stop this looking like a mismatch and should Jennings have any success I imagine Wlad will quickly resort to jab and grab tactics to bank rounds safely. That's why I have little interest in this fight. I'd have rather seen Jennings in with wilder.

I think it's certainly noteworthy that Jennings makes so little from boxing that he has to work a full time job. He's going to get destroyed in this fight. Not only is he not a full time fighter, he also doesn't have much of a amateur background, and he's not a big puncher. That's not a good combination going against a truly great fighter who has extensive experience at both the amateur and professional level.

I think he's full time for this fight (it would be amazingly odd if he wasn't). But yeah, it's going to be a destruction either way.
