I get that it is a big fight, but I'm not feeling the excitement. Is it because they aren't in their primes? Is the matchup of styles not that interesting? Is the conclusion too predictable? Am I just grudging over it for being played out for seven years?

What is up with this "big" fight, why aren't you fired up for this fight?

Even though many claim it's a fight that sells itself, I wonder if they took that to the extreme and may not have been the best job spreading the word. I know a lot of casual fans who were often primed for this fight, and often would talk of fights in the lead up to other Floyd and Pac fights. But there is mostly silence this time around, which is odd.

Well I just found out Pac isn't participating in the pre-fight Mgm ceremony (when they first arrive at hotel, fans, media, etc). Screwing the fans over again. It doesn't feel like a big fight because they're not promoting it as one. Therefore, energy, anticipation, excitement suffers.

It doesn't feel like a big fight because 50% of the fan base has abandoned their man.

I felt this way too. There has been so much bickering between fans that i almost got sick of the fight before it was even signed. Until i thought of them sharing a ring together. I think once you see them in the same ring it will be very exciting, regardless of the years of bs that went along with it.

I am not excited either and I cannot pinpoint it. Perhaps it has to do with both being well into the twilight of their careers and there are younger fighters out there who I'd rather see.

Spot on with both accounts, I don't get out much as I operate a business and spend the rest of my time with a wife and two daughters. However, I'm merely reflecting about how the fight isn't getting ME excited - I couldn't care less about what you and the kids at chucky cheese are talking about.

I'm in New Jersey, with a lot of ties to NYC, and I'm personally sensing far less buzz than is typical for a normal Floyd or Pac fight, and far less than something like Floyd-Canelo was getting.

Mayweather vs Canelo had quite a bit of pre fight hype

This isn't even close in my opinion which is very strange

What fight? Void's judges have already filled out there cards, at least two of them, and the ref, I have seen him favor Void before....................Pac will need a knockout to get a split decision................

I hope you're right. I myself think a Ward/GGG fight would be 10 times more interesting.
