No. The reason was Hitler didn't recognize Canada, just a huge piece of farmland belonging to Britain ... .... Lewis took heed of Hitler's advice when it was time to turn pro. :good
The extra weight was deliberate. Steward and Lewis mentioned before the fight that Lewis need to come in a bit heavier than usual on account of the size of the opponent.
Well Hitler got a reality check when we invaded Juno Beach, which was one of the most fortified beaches in Normandy. :good Course after that we send in Ruddock to avenge Lewis for insulting us and look how that turned out.
Maybe coming in at that weight was purposeful?? I can recall Tyson coming in at his then career heaviest against Lewis to give him "extra strength." A idiotic tactic in my eyes but you never know.
Lewis didn't come in heavy for Klitschko on purpose. Up until two weeks before the bout Lewis thought he was fighting Kirk Johnson, who suffered an injury and pulled out June 7th.
Steward said he wanted him to come an heavier because he was 37. Lewis was in great shape, sa8d to be his best camp since 2000, reason they went through with the fight, didn't want to waste it.
What is this .. gullible week? Who acknowledges weaknesses, physical concerns, sore areas, slight strains, other injuries that now seem pretty close to being past or recovered, etc. or, highlights disadvantages, problems in camp, trouble making weight, or issues encountered or occurring in the lead up to an athletic performance or competition? Steward: "Yeah, things are ****ed up. His conditioning is poor and he's overweight so I sure hope we end it early because I don't think we'll fare as well as in other fights if it goes the distance." What actually gets said instead ... Steward: "Yeah, we're good with his weight. Vitali is a bigger guy so we came in with a few extra ...." The incredibly gullible ... "You calling Steward a liar?"
