    The fact that Stevenson is a scumbag doesn't make Kovalev look good in this situation. He is preventing us from seeing Stevenson getting ktfo.

    Duva and Kovalev are in the wrong here, obviously, you can't deny facts. They are pulling out of the fight.

    No they're not. This purse bid sh it is just a smokescreen by Hymen to make it appear that they really want the fight. If they really do want this fight they should start off by compromising that both HBO and SHO will air the fight then split the purse 50/50 and schedule the fight after Kova's next defense. Don't throw that purse bid sh it wherr if they win they'll force Kova to fight right away and give him not even 30% of the purse and force him to split with HBO too.

    HBO and Showtime ain't cooperating for a fight like this and the notion that they would is silly. The terms of the purse bid were that it would be a straight 50-50 split regardless of who wins and the fight date wasn't until the fourth quarter of the year.

    If anything the mandatory stunt was a smokescreen by Duva, who either never wanted the fight or is more desperate for HBO love than making it.

    thats not it. if kovalev loses which i dont think he would vs adonis. but if he do hes still gonna put butts in seats which mean money. so that isnt the issue.

    Kovalev made 400,000 before taxes against Hopkins, so I'm guessing he made less against Pascal. Adonis Stevenson made somewhere between 1 -2 mil against that British bum he fought on Showtime. Remember that was the reason why Stevenson moved to showtime rather than fight Kovalev as the agreed . HBO was reluctant to match what Showtime was willing to Stevenson or you forgot about that.

    Duva making Stevenson dance to her tune? Thats laughable. Kathy is lightweight when it comes to the business side of this sport. I will be laughing my ass off when Kovalev leaves her ass in few years for greener pastures. Kovalev is not stupid, he sees what Haymond pays his clients. Stevenson makes 4 times what Kovalev does fighting bums in Canada while Kovalev is being paid peanuts despite better opponent than Stevenson.
