Oleksandr Khyzhniak is a 5'11 19 year old Light Heavyweight, Born in Poltava, Ukraine. He's the 2012 Youth World Boxing Champion and the European Junior Championships Silver Medalist. He hasn't turned pro yet but he's fighting in the World Series of Boxing, and this Kid is a One Man Wrecking Machine, he has incredibly fast hands, great combination punching, good footwork, quick movement and reflexes, he's got great uppercuts, does good body work and has knockout power he's almost like an incredibly fast Ukrainian hybrid of Canelo Alvarez and Brandon Rios. He's said he's a patriot and only wants to fight in Ukraine, although I'm that may change if he's offered enough money. I don't know much about him because I just found out about him myself, but he's worth your time because if this kids chin holds up he's going to be a force to reckoned with and he's definitely one to keep an eye on. I'll update this thread when I find out more about him. So Check Him Out He's Pretty Damn Impressive.ggg:ggg:ggg:ggg

He had a great start of the WSB Season, but last night he got schooled by Cuban Star Julio La Cruz Peraza. He still has a lot to learn, but the amateur Light HW division is very talented and I can't wait for the Olympic Games next year (Perhaps Khyzhniak wil turn pro after that).

Ya i was saying he still needs to improve on his footwork if he's going to deal with an expert runner like La Cruz.

The SHW contest between the Cuban Lenier and the Ukrainian team representative Shevadzutski was decent. Shevadzutski looks like a cross between a shorter Valuev and Grossberger from Stir Crazy and he just kept coming walking through everything the Cuban threw at him. He lost but he was extremely tough and determined and it looked nigh on impossible to deter him from trudging forwards wailing away. It could've got real interesting had it been a 8 to 10 rounder or longer. Shevadzutski's incessant pressure might have got to Lenier in the later rounds.

That's not shocking, it was too early to put him in with someone as adept at hauling ass and running as La Cruz is, he'd give a lot of current pros fits with his annoying style.
