The way he fought tonight, Wilder puts him to sleep. It's sad that he let Jennings see the final bell. His inability to fight the whole round will be his downfall.
Another great performance by Wlad. He outboxed a tricky, elusive young heavyweight with a longer reach. No one knocks out every opponent. Wlad stayed patient and had Jennings hurt and back pedalling in the championship round.
Compared to Wilder, Wlad is slow as a turtle. He would see Wlad coming from a mile away. Plus Wilder don't have to punch up. He can punch in a straight line and that right hand will find a home in Wlad's face for as long as he could take it or until he slumps unconscious to the canvas. Too much movement, too much speed and too much power.

Jennings is arguably the #1 American HW, beat Szpilka and Perez, Wilder beat his featherfisted friend Scott in a fixed, and Slowverne... You know the same guy who lost to journeyman King, and was getting outboxed by OLD shot to **** Ray Austin. He was even getting outboxed by Arreola during certain stretches... Let's not forget that Wlad does better against tall opponents, even ones his size or bigger.

Wlad was over cautious, and for some reason he always stinks the place out when he fights in the USA. I think Wlad fights a lot better and with more confidence in Germany and in Europe. I think he should stick to fighting there, seriously. Wlad has already Knocked Wilder the **** out in sparring and brutally so, there would be no difference if they were to fight, especially so if Wlad realised fighting in the USA is bad for him. But Wlad needs to honour his promise now and fight the number one contender and that is Fury!
