Not an alt. I have the same account on Boxrec.

Just stopped posting on boxing forums.

Why would I create an alt three years ago in anticipation of this thread?

For me, I'm slightly surprised at the lack of faith from people that Pacquiao can't knock out Mayweather. This is the man who knocked out ODLH, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, and had Marquez at the edge of cliff about to be KO'ed.

I personally believe Pacquiao has had a serious lack of desire to knock out. To knock out someone, I think there needs to be a sick kind of will, a true desire. Pacquiao goes in there with Rios, Bradley, and Algieri, and he'll tell you straight up that he felt pity on them when he was beating them up. That won't get you a knockout.

Now, entering this fight... it's different. Pacquiao isn't looking at Mayweather like a Bradley, "Oh, I'm going to beat him. Whatever."

He's looking at him as he did Oscar De La Hoya, Cotto, or Margarito.

He told Roach he is going to KO him, and even Pacquiao's wife said he'll only win if he knocks Mayweather out. I think the fire you saw in his eyes and in his fists when he fought Cotto will be back because that's the magnitude of this event.

I listen to the recent opponents and they all describe Pacquiao the same way other opponent's did in 2009+. Even Bradley said recently he felt Pacquiao was the same in all aspects when asked to compare the 2012 to the 2014 version.

All in all, I believe Pacquiao still has the capability to knock guys out and destroy them as he did Cotto, Margarito, Hatton. I just think for him, it's been a problem of will, desire, competition. And with everything on the line in this fight and his team probably not wanting it to go to decision, I think you're going to see one of the best Pacquiao's THIS Saturday.

I agree 10000%. Pac WANTS this KO and he genuinely dislikes Floyd. Roach said he has never seen him actually dislike something. Pac will remember all the PED and trash talk from the mayweathers and take out his fury on floid.

Yeah, but Pacquiao's going out there to knock Floyd Mayweather out and I'm not blind to that! And if anyone would be able to, it'd be Pacquiao.... or Golovkin :tong

    1. It's not about a lack of faith in PAC. It's about the guy standing across from him come May 2. We are talking ATG defense. Never been KO'd. Never even been officially KD. It's a pain the ass to hit Floyd cleanly with one let alone a combination of punches. Floyd's proved in the Cotto fight that he's pretty durable to body shots. And Floyd's chin is underrated and he's knows exactly what to do when he does get hurt. Oh and his recovery ability is lightning quick. That is all there is to it. A KO isn't impossible. Just highly unlikely.

    2. He didn't KO ODLH or Cotto. And JMM was far from finished. He was still very much in the fight.

ODLH and Cotto, TKO= KO win on record
JMM said himself that he didn't have anything left in him and that his corner was going to take him out the next round due to the busted nose.

And, it's because of combination punches that I think it's more likely. (Still not very likely). One punch is HARD to land, but the more punches you throw, the higher your chances to hit him gets. Especially being a southpaw + awkward + fast. If there was ever a style with the best chance to hit Floyd, it's Pac's style.

And the only ones who said they would take on only did with their alternate accounts

These cowards spent the whole year calling Mayweather a coward and accusing him of not want to fight Manny. Now it seems they have been the cowards all along! :rofl

Put up or shut up! :deal
