    Smith V Ward

    Mitchell V Linares

    Selby V Gradovich

    Gavin V Brook

    Saunders V Lee

    Groves V Jack

    Quigg V Donaire?

    Jamie McDonnel V Kameda

    ...Out of all of these fights. 7 are Eddie Hearn Matchroom made fights. My question is. How much is the current success of British boxing reliant on Matchroom's exclusive deal with sky. And how does FW match up in terms of prospects for the future in reality? I see only Eubank Jr, Mitchell Smith, Saunders, of much worth.

    Mitchell Smith won't get to world level. He's a hypejob like Paul Butler. Liam Williams is someone I rate highly and I would back him to beat Liam Smith if that fight was made down the line.

    I think Smith looked poor and underwhelming in his short move up to Super Feather. But he looks good at feather. Tete's destruction of Butler was a masterclass. Butler was embarrassed and had nothing to reply with. FW needs to stop promoting such no hopers.

    So what other prospects are worth looking out for in the Uk right now?

    Waleed Din at Flyweight should be with a top promoter but Dennis Hobson will probably do a good job with him. Ohara Davies with matchroom is someone I think can go far aswell. Can't really think of any top prospects for ****** if I'm honest.

    We've got some decent (maybe) heavies on the horizon, Haroon Khan looked good to me when I watched him. Not sure who these guys are with though...

    Yeah Din was a celebrated amateur right? Heard he beat the great Prince Patel in the ABA's. Dillian Whyte, Joshua's nemesis seems half decent so far sure he will do well if he is brought on right.

    Yeah Din beat him on points in 2012 then Patel got disqualified for wrestling in the 2013 ABA final.

    Whyte is good but can't see him doing anything on the world scene.

    to my knowledge neither has had a fight televised yet... hearn musn't feel davies is one of his better prospects if he was then he'd be showcased on sky.. you are obviously purposely looking for some obscure diody youtube videos of this guy just cause he is the is the same colour skin as you... lightweight is stackd in Uk he aint gonna do much.

    Mitchell smith is obviously muchbetter than both of them

    Ohara Davies is obviously a prospect regardless of skin colour. I really don't see what that has to do with anything. Let's not say things online we'd never dare say in real life and keep it to gentlemanly decency. Davies is in videos online from the Mayweather gym absolutely tanning one of TMT's young prospects with ease. The guy obviously has class.

    Ha ha, weird! Someone has a go at me for rating H Khan and I'm doing exactly the same thing with O Davies! Sorry to say but when I've seen him box he looks like a damn windmill.....I was expecting the next incarnation of Ray Leonard the way people were hyping him and I almost fell off my chair when I actually watched him.:patsch

    I am white you plumb and that shouldn't matter anyway in the slightest. I've watched every single one of his pro fights and I've seen him spar. Trust me he is a special talent.

    I forgot about Liam Walsh if you can still class him as a prospect. I think he could win a version of a world title if his injuries don't continue to hold him back.

    Well with the Matchroom stable as it is now, they have the best of the British talent. Its not down to Hearn, but he has just offered more money than anyone due to the Sky deal. The Sky sports deal is huge for British boxing and is the one of the sole reasons as to why British boxing is on such a high.
