    Which movements which can be done in the gym with weights and bodyweight do you think contribute the most to strength gain which is specifically beneficial to boxers. Do not include; ab isolations, wood-chopping and plyometrics. Feel free to include bodyweight excercises such as dips, pushups, chins and pullups.

    I think many of us on this forum already have one in mind, that is the king of all boxing exercises...

    I like dumbell snatch, kettlebell swings (between the legs and lateral), barbell overhead press, db kettlebell squats, deadlift... I really don't have the science or the knowledge to explain why they are great (or preferable to other exercises), but I like them, I can feel improvements.
