He's top 5 but I think Dirrell is a better fighter.

It's a massive step up for him, I do to think he can switch of at times and go to the ropes a bit to much. good 50/50 match up for me. Looking forward to this one.

I think Degale derails Dirrell. With a stunning trainwreck of a knockout.

Degale was shellshocked against Wilcheski after the Groves fight.
Since then he has been brought on, Gonzales wasn't nobody he was
unbeaten and rated. And he dispatched him destructively.
Periban had never been dropped and stopped like that.
Even with the sightly premature stoppage it was impressive.

Dirrell is an unknown quantity. He is a style that is MEANT to
look good against the Froch's of this world. He looked 'good'
against Froch but by no means great. And by no means was
it the robbery of the century some people make it out to be.

Dirrell ****s his shoulder when he throws. This is a disaster
waiting to happen against someone like Degale. A trap setter.
Someone who plays dead at times and then strikes.

Dirrell gets stopped early and Degale announces himself to the world.

    Mark my words.

Yeah, he will be far more successful than the clearly jealous 'trendsetter' and his thread. I'm not a Degale fan, but he's a pretty decent fighter and will definitely beat a top 5 SWM soon enough - I think the Dirrell fight is 50/50 due to it being in the USA. Degale is more likely to stop Dirrell than vice-versa, though.

Defail? He has lost one fight? I wouldn't say he has failed at anything. Olympic gold, world title shot in his next fight? What have you achieved? Hush little boy

Agreed. All the 'trendsetter' has done is made a biased thread and 'defailed' at it, to quote himself.

Have you watched Dirrells recent fights against 2 journeymen and Dereck Edwards? The journeymen were catching him clean. He hasn't fought anyone since Abraham nearly 5 years back. Edwards clipped him in the 12th and hislegs were gone. Degale hits hard. We will see what happens.

    Degale... Derails... Dirrell.

Far too early to claim that. At this point Degale would win comfortably.
