Seriously. They all think Floyd is fighting Gatti or Robert Guerrero again.

You feel that because that's exactly what you do. I'm 100% sure of it.

Majority of Pac's opponents north of 140 have been bigger than him.
He was out-muscling Bradley who walks around a super middleweight.

If you feel that way...why the hell do you Floyd fans keep making ****ing threads every hour! Sounds more like worrying to us Pac fans!

None of these guys were very good defensively, and they were too slow to see the punches.

If Floyd can't see the punches, he's gonna lose. Because, he doesn't really have that fight changing power.

If he can see them and land his counters, he will pick Manny apart. Manny does not have the defensive skills to prevent it.

Bradley is a small WW. He does put on weight. But, his frame is more naturally suited for 140. If he ever gets in there at 154, he's gonna look pretty small.

DLH and Mosley were "boxer punchers." Not "technicians."

How much bigger is Mayweather than Pac anyway?

Of course he won't do as good. But idiot Pacturds will turn that into "but Pacquiao is greater than Maidana and Castillo!!!" Irrelevant fact. Pacquiao is greater than both Maidana and Castillo, and will do worse against Mayweather than they did.

The fact they can't see why that is, is not at all surprising given how delusional they are about Pacquiao.

His style of aggression is vastly different from those 2 guys.

The thing Castillo and Maidana have in common is they're both good inside fighters who were able to do their best work on Floyd when he was pinned on the ropes.

Manny isn't a good inside fighter, and he doesn't do his best work pressing guys up on the ropes. His aggression starts with him jumping in and out of the pocket and unleashing flurries.

The styles of aggression between Pacman and Maidana/JLC couldn't be any further apart.

Now if Manny was a stronger guy than FLoyd and could bully him on the inside and end up having him pinned on the ropes for long periods of times while he unleashed flurries on him, than I'd like his chances a lot more than I do now. Unfortunately, he doesn't and has never fought in that manner.

5" of reach, approximately 2" of height. Mayweather willl surely be the stronger man in the clinch. I think they'll be roughly the same for fight night weights. Mayweather might outweigh Pac by up to 3-5 pounds possibly if I had to venture a guess.

Manny is going to have enough trouble getting by Mayweather's lead hand without taking a punch or having his defense compromised when he tries to close distance.... Seriously. People are in for a rude awakening.

Mayweather can fight from all ranges in this fight: long, mid, and inside. Manny Pacquiao HAS to be at mid range to be effective. Doesn't bode well for him.

I'm with Roger Mayweather: "I don't think he can do **** with Floyd, period." Horrible, just horrible style match up for Manny. Absolutely the wrong guy for him. Anybody with sense can see it. All this nonsense about "Manny's style being wrong for Floyd..." Please...... Dreams.

Manny needs to hit Floyd with the "punch heard around the world." The F'ing Miracle Shot. Otherwise, he's losing, and losing handily.

They were excellent at doing a few things:

    1) An educated jab to make Floyd take steps back to the ropes.
    2) The size and strength to keep Mayweather pinned on the ropes.
    3) They would smother Mayweather's work to limit his offense (he likes to throw straight) and loop their own punches around and over the top of Floyd's guard.

Manny fans see this and say: if these "inferior boxers" can do this to Floyd, Manny will destroy him! Fools gold.

Manny has none of the characteristics I just described.

    - Manny doesn't have an educated jab to back Mayweather up with.
    - He isn't going to outweigh Mayweather by 15-20 pounds and be able to muscle him on the inside.
    - Manny is NOT an inside fighter. He's a "mid-range" guy.
    - Mayweather will have more space to throw his own punches because Manny also likes space to throw punches.

This fight May 2nd will take place for the most part where? In the center of the ring. Good luck Pac Fans. If Manny can't out fight Floyd at mid-range, it's going to get ugly. Tell you that right now, because Manny has no chance at long distance or on the inside.

I didn't see this wonderful post of yours until now man.

Good to always talk boxing with someone that appreciates the subtleties of the sport. The fight went pretty much how I expected it to, although I thought Manny would be a lot more aggressive and fall into one of Mayweather's traps which surprisingly didn't happen. I was also kind of taken back by the handspeed and the legs of Floyd. He was clearly superior in those 2 areas last night against a guy who was supposed to be much faster than him.

It wasn't the greatest performance by Floyd, at times he looked tentative, but he did more than enough to cruise by!
