Maybe.. But he's still pretty quick, and Floyd has lost a step.

This Pac is better than that Judah, but faster? No!

And Pacquiao does have underrated timing. He times guys well.

He's being hit more now than he was back then, so compubox says otherwise.

Judah had faster single punch speed(Mayweather does too), but Pacquiao has faster combinations + great power which wins him the speed category for me.

Not true, I would take Dinamita seriously and possibly Bradley even though he went into the fight to prove himself. He was throwing haymakers from the opening bell. Dinamita was the last world level fighter Pac fought that had an actual game plan.

Bradley loses his head and gets caught up in his ego. See the Provo fight. And even he rocked PAC and had early success against him before throwing out his plan.

Algeri was doing cartwheels in the ring like a toddler in a play pin B, cmon.

It's hard to say because Roger had Floyd more aggressive, while Sr. has him more defensive.

Combination punching and single punch speed are different. Combos are more for plodders and stationary targets. Single punch speed is just as much about the angle (shortest distance from where you threw it, to the target) as it is about the speed of it,

Combos won't be a factor in this fight.

The fact remains, however, that a speedy southpaw was able to find the range and timing needed to land big lefts with some consistency and regularity against a defensive master.

It doesn't necessarily say anything at all about how Pac will fare, but it's certainly an interesting point that Bogo edited down into a nice quick display for all to see.

And regarding your point, to play Devil's Advocate, the fact that Pac has a different style than Judah and a shorter reach could wind up making his left more lethal towards Floyd than Judah's was. I'm not saying that's how it will play out, but it's certainly plausible, and an argument for such a case can easily be made.

Exactly. His defense now is more refined, he gets hit more because his output dropped, not because he's actually taking a lot of damage. His lack of aggression allows people to throw more, but his defense is better now Imo.

    ???

Pac's weird then because he throws combinations at everyone.

Utter garbage! This might not be a fight where neither guys utilize multi-punch combos, but whoever winds up landing the more effective quick 2 and 3 punch variety of combos could wind up being the key to victory.
