Not to mention other fighters like powerful superheavyweight jameel mccline, and the undefeated american calvin brock.

Most of these men were big, powerful, skilled heavyweights in their primes who would have done very well in the past eras of smaller heavyweights.

    Chambers was #4 rated.

Klitschko entered as The Ring Magazine World Heavyweight Champion, and Chambers was the publication's #4 contender.

Pulev being No 1 rated shows how bad boxings has become. Very ordinary fighter with very ordinary or should I say sub par skills. No nobody yet he is no 1 rated? This underscores the main problem today...too many champions and too many challengers. Fighters who you would never hear of years ago are now top rated.

Pulev earned his rating and was something of a giant slayer defeating Thompson, Ustinov, and Dimitrenko. Fury wanted no part of him.

They were far from A level fighters, didn't Rahman go life and death with Sanders??

    Both were heavyweight champion!
The fact that Rahman went life and death with Sanders doesn't do anything for Wlad's rep if you are calling Rahman far from an A fighter does it!
You can't have it both ways.

Neither can you, by rubbishing Sanders you are also rubbishing Rahman! Sanders was heavyweight champion too or did you forget that?

The difference is I'm not rubbishing Sanders, I didn't mention his in my original post! Or did you forget that?

They were at a similar level to Sanders but probably more dedicated professionals.

Ooh, you listed a lot of fighters who were big and heavy to illustrate just how great Vlad must be because he beat them. A lot of Ali's opponents are nowhere near as big so he can't be that good. I hate this obsession with size on here!
