No. Ray Robinson is the greatest. You can also make a claim for a few other fighters, but not Ali.

Being the greatest isn't just about inside the ring, it also is about how you are outside the ring. That is why Muhammad Ali is seen as the GOAT. Even to this day he is most probably the most well known sportsman of all time.

Outside of boxing circles Mayweather is hardly known. So it's pretty easy to see why Ali>FMJ

Mayweather went to jail for restraining one woman who later testified against him claiming "battery". If he did batter her as she claims, where are the pictures in this era of social media?. One month for battery as you losers claim?, if she was truly battered he would serve for far longer.

As far as women are concerned, it's no surprise that virgins with no experience like you that cry "battery" harder than the women themselves. SRR literally battered women and so did many other legendary Boxers. Even Ali smacked a woman. Go out there and experience women before acting like an idiot.

How good a fighter is or isn't is not just about the technicalities and talent,it's about heart, spirit, will to win, and coming through adversity against allcomers.
I'll let people judge who would come out on top on those assessments.

Ali said Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest, this is on video. There is no real dispute who the greatest is, Floyd ain't even in the top 20

Yeah, with the intangibles I agree. Even strictly in the ring he's top 10 Atg.

If we're talking resume, I don't even think Ali is the greatest at HW.

What he said is accurate. The fake outrage over Mayweather is kind of funny, when boxers have a long history of less than upstanding deeds as a citizen. Mayweather is a choir boy compared to some former greats.

I would also point out that many people in the United States plead guilty to crimes they didn't commit. There are numerous reasons to do this. Considering a world class boxer supposedly hit these women, I find it odd that 1) no pictures of damage ever surfaced and 2) these women still associate and sleep with Mayweather according to reports. If the woman was "so battered," she has a funny way of showing it considering she still has an intimate relationship with the man according to media reports. And again: no pictures ever surfaced.

Point being: We don't know the details of Floyd's private affairs with his various women. Pleading guilty in a US Court can happen for various reasons, not necessarily guilt. (Look it up, the statistics will surprise you in regard to how many innocent people plead guilty for various reasons)

I'm all for protecting women, but plenty of women cry wolf to get what they want as well. Fun fact: over 40% of domestic violence cases are women abusing men. It's not a 1-way street.
