Sucks for floyd he cant really do anything about Tyson dissing him. Tysons crazy and unpredictable. He`ll slap floyd up in front of his security.

 

I think the issue is that Tyson is steeped in respect and knowledge of boxing history, maybe more so than any other boxer in recent memory, and doesn't appreciate the nature of Floyd's disregard for past boxers. The fact that Mayweather calls himself the best isn't a problem, but him completely dismissing Ali in the manner in which he did surely ****ed off a boxing connoisseur like Tyson. Also, in reference to driving his kids to school, Tyson notes how Ali was a man of the people and his greatness extended beyond the ring to make himself a global icon and truly an important figure in the history of the sport and even society. Mayweather's notoriety and greatness that he projects for himself is steeped in making a lot of money, which Tyson doesn't seem to respect as a measure of greatness.

 

What's more interesting to me is, when asked about his prediction about the fight he said, "I don't know, at first I picked Pacquiao", go ahead and keep using his quotes as gospel Pacquiao fans. Looks like Mike is wired to me.

 

Tyson would back hand you if he ever heard you say "Tyson and Me" about anything again. And Pac is nowhere near as shot as you say. Floyds worse off than him at this point. He was getting assaulted by Maidana lol.

It sounds like he was backtracking to me, however I do think predictions are sometimes based off of liking or disliking a fighter. Apparently Ali did the same thing through a spokesperson, funny if you ask me.
